Hi! I'm Stephanie. I'm a self-taught photographer that's been creating "jeez that's dramatic" images since 2019. My journey to finding art was unexpected. It all started at my local dam—I went nearly every evening! Working in an office had me desperate for a little sunshine and a beautiful view. What began as an easy way get some vitamin D and fresh air quickly bloomed into an unexpected passion for "finding the view". For me, it’s not about having the latest or most expensive gear, but about capturing authentic moments that inspire me. You'll find some smartphone photography mixed in with DSLR images here!
Whether it’s the intense drama of a black and white, or the quiet elegance of a vivid landscape, I strive to evoke emotion and tell a new story through each shot. Though I haven't received any "formal" training, my images have been featured on platforms like the SC Picture Project. Here, my work was shared to help tell the stories of South Carolina’s natural beauty. This kind recognition only fueled my drive to keep pushing my creative boundaries to continue sharing my perspective with the world.
